Halton Healthcare Services Receive $2.2 Million in Funding From Ontario to Support the Addition of CT Hours

THE ONTARIO GOVERNMENT IS PROVIDING $2,223,750 IN FUNDING TO HALTON HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE ADDITION OF CT HOURS

Milton, ON – Fantastic news for residents from Milton and beyond: Ontario Government is providing Halton Healthcare Services with $2,223,750 in funding to support the addition of CT hours.

The Ministry of Health has approved up to $81,000,000 in one-time funding to support the addition of 324,000 Computed Tomography (CT) hours across 86 Ontario hospitals for the 2025/2026 year. 

This funding will support the enhanced delivery of effective and high-quality care to patients in Milton and Halton who require CT services. 

Milton MPP, Zee Hamid is pleased to see this important funding go to Halton Healthcare hospitals, such as the Milton District Hospital. “I am looking forward to seeing improvements in the delivery of care the Ministry’s funding will provide to residents of Milton. It is important to ensure individuals and families who may be going through difficult times have access to dignified and quality care,” MPP Hamid explains.
