Milton Youth Mental Health Facility Receives $368,700 from Ontario to Support Live In Treatment Beds

MILTON YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY (REACH OUT CENTRE FOR KIDS) RECEIVES $368,700 IN FUNDING FROM THE ONTARIO GOVERNMENT TO SUPPORT LIVE IN TREATMENT BEDS


Milton, ON – Great news for mental health care in Milton: Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) receives $368,700 in provincial funding to support live in treatment beds. This funding will support the delivery of dignified and thorough care for youth in Milton who are facing mental health crises.

This funding is a part of the province’s continued commitment to improving access to mental health care. The Ministry of Health approved up to $12,000,000 in funding to support live in treatment beds in 2025/2026. 

MPP for Milton, Zee Hamid shares his thoughts on this announcement, “I am a strong advocate for access to mental health services, particularly for youth. We must ensure Milton youth have adequate access to proper mental health services, which is why I am very happy for the Reach Out Centre for Kids.” MPP Hamid continues, “I have no doubt ROCK will utilize this funding to its fullest capacity as they continue to provide lifesaving care to our youth.”
