Ontario Calls for Urgent Federal Bail Reform to Keep Communities Safe

Ontario’s Solicitor General (Honourable Michael S. Kerzner), Attorney General (Honourable Doug Downey), Associate Solicitor General for Auto Theft and Bail Reform (Honourable Zee Hamid), and Associate Attorney General (Honourable Michael A. Tibollo) have written a joint letter to the federal government urging immediate and meaningful bail reform

The letter sets out clear measures to tackle violent repeat offenders, strengthen sentencing, and better protect families and communities across Canada.
