Public Health Gets a Boost in Halton Region Through Provincial Funding 



Milton, ON - Milton and Halton Region will see increased access to efficient Public Health Services through the Ministry of Health’s plan to support public health across the province. Ontario’s Ministry of Health is funding $821,900 to support public health programs and services in Halton Region for the 2025/2026 year. This funding will support a range of public health initiatives and service delivery priorities.



This is part of the Ontario government’s $60.09 million allotment in one-time funding to 29 Public Health Units across the province. The province remains committed to ensuring Ontarians have access to quality and efficient public health resources and services.
